Keeping an Eye on the Weather

As we monitor a weather system that has the potential to impact school attendance for the first time this year, I wanted to remind everyone about our notification procedures related to weather closures.

If the weather conditions make travel hazardous, we will implement an E-Learning Day for the first five days that such conditions exist. Our teachers are prepared to implement these days and will communicate directly with students. Any days after that will be Emergency Days (no E-Learning).

We do our best to make a decision on school attendance before our buses would leave, which is typically around 6 AM or shortly before.

Notification to our stakeholders will occur in the following ways:

  1. Direct contact to you through text. The text will go to the number you entered into our student management system when you registered your student.

  2. Direct contact to you through email. The text will go to the number you entered into our student management system when you registered your student.

  3. Posted on our Facebook page.

  4. Communicated to local radio and TV.

Any additional information related to activities will be shared in the same manner.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Stay warm and stay safe.
